Brainstorming activities with the client are essential to go deep into the journey and capture even the slightest insight into the company’s business.
Then begins the most dynamic phase of the process: a continuous series of “trial & error” testing of the prototype in Ma.ti.ka. laboratories and onsite at the customer’s premises, to leave no room for error or probability of underperformance.
Ma.ti.ka.’s R&D department is where our engineers study, compare, and design entire processes that are not limited to just the product but govern the whole system’s performance.
Here in ma.ti.ka. we adopt the lean production: a methodology aiming at waste-eliminating and processes-simplifying with a view to continuous improvement focused on providing value for our customers.
For us “value” means guaranteeing our customer the quality of the product with high level of service that leads to loyalty. To ensure this, we operate in a “pull” perspective with the purpose of reducing the customer order lead time, i.e., from the receipt of the customer’s order to its delivery at the customer’s plant.
The application of the lean method and associated techniques has a significant impact on people: there is no lean production without the involvement of individuals and their active support at all levels in the organization. It is these aspects that we have been working on at Ma.ti.ka. for years: we believe that people’s involvement and their central role in the company processes lead to an increase in the company value, not only in economic terms but also in personal satisfaction, professional growth and feeling of belonging.
From consulting to implementation: our projects do not stop at the fan development process but move within a consulting ecosystem that assesses the installation environment and verifies its durability limits, criticality, or potential. Our services include efficiency testing on the client’s entire product: Impact test, FFT test, Balancing Machine, Endurance test, Analysis of total vibration, Vibration phase, Synchronous component of the vibration.

We participate in the product performance check by auditing our test results and ensuring ongoing and professional support. For Ma.ti.ka., this means “full service”: providing a unique solution and ensuring the performance matches what was predicted at the design stage. Data analysis makes it possible to predict product lifecycle performance within the installation environment.
Our ongoing and professional support ensures service and assistance on product performance, as well on-site audits at the customer’s request.
Commercial and technical support, with assistance from the logistics department, completes the services we offer at Ma.ti.ka. to ensure continuity for the customer even in the after-sales phase.
The Academy has long since become a fundamental and integral part of Ma.ti.ka.’s business reality, where young people and training are at the center. In recent years at Ma.ti.ka., we have been combining research with training and academic knowledge, sharing knowledge, values, and strategies so that young talents and internal collaborators can grow and be trained.
In fact, one initiative we hold particularly dear is “The School at the Company”, the project carried out in collaboration with business associations aimed at bringing students closer to businesses. Of no less importance is the collaboration with the HTBL Institute in Kapfenberg, which has been creating for more than 20 years a collaborative network capable of making international mindsets coexist and cooperate between the Academic Team and the Ma.ti.ka laboratory.
